Recruiting |
| In 1980, Miller Personnel was established
based on the concept that a broad-based educational background, coupled
with diverse, actual work experience in a selected field would enhance the
quality of service. Twenty years later we are known for our high
standard of knowledgeable, high-quality customer service, and proudly
stand behind our reputation. |
| Mark Miller graduated
from General Motors Institute (GMI) in Flint, MI in 1975 with a Bachelor's
Degree in Industrial Engineering,
and pursued a Master's Degree in Personnel Administration from Indiana
University on a leave of absence from GM. (GMI's name recently
changed to Kettering University.) |
| Delco-Remy in Anderson, IN and Frigidaire
in Dayton, OH were the sponsoring GM divisions for his 5-year co-op
program with GMI. He was very fortunate to have had more than 15
different assignments throughout the manufacturing environment.
These included periods in several areas of Engineering
and Manufacturing Management such
as: Manufacturing/Process and Industrial Engineering,
Packaging/Material Handling Engineering, Test Engineering, Materials,
Purchasing, Order Entry, Production/Inventory Control, Production
Supervision, Distribution, Transportation, EPA (Pollution Control), Model
Shop, the OEM and Service Warehouse as well as assignments in Human
Resources, Sales and MIS. For the past 24 years he has been
comfortable recruiting for just about any type of position for a
manufacturing facility. |

| Miller Personnel has chosen to work with
certain search firms which over the years have developed a reputation of
being very ethical, professional, and successful. For almost 20
years our President and Owner, Mark Miller, has been a member of and has
served on the Board Of Directors
of our profession's State
Association, IAPS - Indiana
Association of Personnel Services. He has chaired several
committees, including Ethics (Business Practices), Conference/Education,
and Newsletter, and has also served in various officer capacities. |
Miller
Personnel also has a twenty-year relationship with NPA,
an international staffing network made up of approximately 400
Recruiting/Placement firms. Their high standards ensure that member
companies have met strict ethical and business guidelines. This
allows us the confidence to access their private,
electronic network database and
view job openings and candidates in over 250 cities in the United States
and Overseas. We are able to key in specific search criteria and can
often match clients with candidates in close proximity. This
minimizes relocation costs and reduces stress. We have the recruiting
power to assist candidates and clients with positions in practically
any career field or location. |
The Indiana
Association of Personnel Services was
established to help develop regulation to govern the rapidly developing
personnel industry. IAPS remains a member-supported professional
trade association dedicated to the advancement of the mutual interests of
its members through education, public relations, communication,
enforcement of high ethical standards and legislative activity.
Miller Personnel has been an active member of IAPS for 20 years.
